What is WKND?

Is WKND free to join?

Yes. Creating an account is completely free. You can browse events, save trips, and earn points without paying anything. Optional subscriptions like WKND+ and WKND Black unlock lower fees and premium perks.

What cities is WKND available in?

WKND is live in 12 markets including Miami, Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Las Vegas, Cleveland, DC, New Orleans, and New York. Each city has its own dedicated content hub and local event coverage.

How do I sign up?

Head to wkndtour.com and click Sign Up. One account gives you access to everything -- events, Trip Wallet, ambassador tools, and more. Your role unlocks automatically based on how you use the platform.

What makes WKND different from other event platforms?

WKND is not just a ticketing page. It combines event discovery, trip planning, social features, ambassador referrals, and real-time nightlife tools like Pulse maps and After Dark mode into one connected experience.

How do I find events near me?

Browse your city's WKND page, use the search tools, or check the social feed for what is trending tonight. Pulse maps show real-time energy across venues in your area.

How does the Trip Wallet work?

Trip Wallet is your personal travel organizer inside WKND. Save events, hotels, flights, and services into a single trip. Share it with your group and keep everything in one place.

Can I book flights and hotels through WKND?

Yes. WKND connects to major flight and hotel providers so you can search and book directly from your Trip Wallet. Bundle pricing is rolling out for select markets.

How do WKND Points work?

You earn points on bookings, referrals, and engagement. 100 points equals $1. Points can be redeemed toward future bookings and experiences. They roll on a 12-month window.

What is WKND Black?

WKND Black is our elite membership tier, capped at 1,000 members. It includes the lowest platform fees, priority access, and exclusive perks. Annual membership is $299/year.

Can I get a refund on a booking?

Refund eligibility depends on the event or service provider's policy. WKND holds payments in escrow until services are confirmed, which protects both sides. Email us at hello@wkndtour.com for specific refund questions.

What is an Ambassador?

Ambassadors are people who share WKND events and earn commission on every booking made through their tracked referral links. It is the easiest way to monetize your social reach.

How much can I earn as an Ambassador?

Commission rates range from 8% to 16% depending on your tier and performance. Top ambassadors also unlock bonuses through the Ambassador Contribution Index.

How do referral commissions work?

Every Ambassador gets a unique tracked link. When someone books through your link, the sale is attributed to you and your commission is calculated automatically.

How do I become an Ambassador?

Complete 3 or more referral bookings and the Ambassador hat unlocks on your profile. You can also apply directly through the Ambassador page at wkndtour.com/info/ambassadors.

When do Ambassadors get paid?

Payouts are processed after event completion and reconciliation. You can track pending and completed earnings from your Ambassador dashboard. Email hello@wkndtour.com with payout questions.

How do I list my event on WKND?

Sign up and unlock the Promoter hat by verifying your event history and business entity. From there you can post events, manage ticket tiers, and activate ambassadors to drive demand.

What percentage does WKND take from ticket sales?

The standard platform fee is 8% per transaction. Promoter Pro subscribers pay a reduced rate of 5%. These fees cover attribution tracking, payment processing, and platform tools.

How does door management work?

WKND includes a real-time door mode that handles entry verification, section assignments, and payment confirmation on event night. No extra app needed.

Can I sell VIP tables through WKND?

Yes. Promoters and venues can list VIP table inventory with pricing, section maps, and bottle service options. Guests can reserve and pay directly through the platform.

How do restaurant reservations work?

Venues with reservation capability can accept bookings directly through their WKND listing. Guests find you through city pages, articles, and social discovery.

Is there a fee for venues to be listed?

Basic venue listings are free. Premium placement, featured positioning, and advanced analytics are available through paid tiers. Contact hello@wkndtour.com for details.

What services can I offer on WKND?

Vendors can list photography, videography, DJ services, catering, security, decor, and other event-related services. If it supports a great night out, it belongs on WKND.

How does payment work for vendors?

Payments are held in escrow through Stripe until the service is confirmed complete. This protects both the vendor and the client. The standard vendor fee is 10%, or 6% for Vendor Pro subscribers.

How do I get more vendor bookings?

Keep your portfolio updated, respond to inquiries quickly, and collect reviews after each job. Higher-rated vendors get better placement in search results.
